The Eckerts and the Fosters introduced the biggest number of supporters
to MFEE and its new initiatives to support our schools...and of course, they
both made the challenge their own! Thank you to both families for their
bravery and spirit!
These families raised $17,000! What will the funds support?
MFEE recently surveyed district staff to identify critical needs to support
distance learning and beyond. (Read a summary of the report by clicking here.)
We're responding by developing some new initiatives to address key areas identified:
• support for our most vulnerable students
• social/emotional support for students and parents
• tech resources for teachers and parents
• materials for teachers to enhance distance learning
MFEE's TikTok Together Competition is funding new initiatives in Montclair Public
Schools like PEEPS (Peer-led Educational Engagement Program).
This is a program to support students who are struggling with distance learning by

Your donation to MFEE's School Closure fund will support programs like
PEEPs and other programs in development to address needs emerging for
